Since then, my partner and I have built one of the top energy brokerage firms operating in the US today, Live Energy Inc.
I helped start The Electricity Professionals Association (TEPA) in 2007 and served as president in 2009.
That year I launched the Certified Energy Professional (CEP) certification which is the primary industry certification for energy brokers.
I’m recognized as a pioneer in the industry for creating the first energy management platform of its kind, that calculates future prices and delivers real-time price alerts to corporate energy buyers.
We are energy experts who actually practice what we teach
Most importantly, we are seasoned energy veterans. We practice what we teach and our primary business is energy brokerage, not selling training.
I can’t stand it when I see people trying to train others when they aren’t even practitioners of what they teach!
The truth is we started Energy Broker Secrets because we’ve always wished there was a place to send new people to get trained before they join Live Energy as independent energy brokers.
We scratched our own itch
The training didn’t exist so we finally created it ourselves, to produce the kind of people that can thrive with us at Live Energy or wherever their path takes them upon completion.
All our training is based on the strategies we’ve developed over the past 20 years and that we use everyday.

Let me be abundantly clear. This is not for everyone! In fact, it’s really not for most people. That’s because most people lack the discipline required to be successful.
Building a residual income in any industry requires a lot of hard work on the front end and it takes significant time and effort on a daily basis to see results. But the reward is life-changing.
For people who can make a commitment and execute a daily plan, I believe the energy business is an excellent niche to get into in 2020.
Paying it forward
I was very fortunate to find this niche back in 2001. It has allowed me to create an amazing life full of cool experiences for myself and my family.
The single most important thing it has done is given me the freedom to do what I want, when I want from anywhere as long as I have an internet connection and a laptop.
We still operate Live Energy and are confident that our best days are yet to come. We have no plans to ever stop, but our true passion now is teaching others how to achieve financial freedom in the energy brokerage just like we did. It’s time to pay it forward.
